It’s fully retrofittable with all existing Rohloff E-14/Bosch combinations and features a simple plug-and-play installation process for added convenience.
To ensure compatibility with older E-14 systems (E-14 1.0 with Bosch BES2), a firmware update via the free "Rohloff E-14 1.0 Classic App" from the Google Play Store is required.
